More than 60 years ago, Schantz Manufacturing was created by Socrates Schantz with the thought that mobile concession trailers should more resemble brick-and-mortar establishments. With this idea, the Schantz retractable wheel system was invented, and continuous innovation changed the industry.

In 2017, Schantz Manufacturing was acquired by Craftsmen Industries – a natural fit between our manufacturing specialties. Both companies’ focus align with the idea that innovation and great engineering equals best-in-class products and market leadership.
